Barb’s Pies and Pastries is on Main Street in Ferndale, Washington. The owner Barb O’brine has 30 years experience in culinary arts. At age 17 she began her career flipping burgers at a Driven in Birch Bay. By her mid twenties she was head dinner chef at a local home-style cafe’. In 1999 Barb’s Pies and Pastries was born. After a successful pie selling fundraiser, we decide to bake full time. We have a variety of wonderful pastries but;

We are told time and time again our cakes taste fabulous. They are moist and creamy made with real butter but not too sweet.
We started with homemade pies in 1999 at Cedars Restaurant and Lounge. Soon we were winning awards around the the county with our Caramel Apple Crunch Pie. As we became well known our repeat customers and business list grew. In 2003 we added Wedding cakes and event baking.
